Our Roots

As a Dutch and Norwegian‑American family, we grew up surrounded by the quiet beauty of heritage — tulips in spring, rosemaling patterns on heirlooms, stories told around kitchen tables. These traditions shaped us, and we wanted to create a way for others to reconnect with their own.

What started as a personal project quickly grew into a small, heartfelt business dedicated to heritage‑rich design, meaningful storytelling, and handcrafted quality.

What We Make

We create small‑batch wooden keepsakes and home goods inspired by the symbols of the Netherlands and Norway — windmills, tulips, canal houses, sailing ships, rosemaling, and more. Each piece is engraved with clean, modern detail while staying true to the cultural motifs that have endured for centuries.

Every item includes a heritage story insert, written to help families share the meaning behind the designs and spark conversations across generations.

Each piece is crafted in our Iowa home workshop — cut, sanded, engraved, and finished with care. We work in small batches to ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail. Nothing here is mass‑produced. Everything is made with intention.
